Openworld (Assisting Entrepreneurial Schools)

February 2008: Explorers Foundation invested in Openworld's Assisting Entrepreneurial Schools, through a Cobden-Bright Award of $250.
 
The Assisting Entrepreneurial Schools web site has been prepared by Openworld, Inc. as resource for communities to explore new market-sensitive learning initiatives.  It intends to offer a forum for peer-to-peer exchanges by learning entrepreneurs and thought leaders.

From ideas to action

Openworld's work in education inspired the creation of the Explorers Foundation's Vortex Lancaster, named after Joseph Lancaster, the creator of the Lancaster system of education, England, about 1800, providing a method of educating large numbers of children, using minimal resources, and enlisting more advanced children as teachers.
